The Prophet Muhammad Institute for Islamic Studies (PMIIS) has been established with the aim of acquainting students from diverse backgrounds with a wide array of Shia and non-Shia literature, fostering critical thinking through an academic approach in their advanced studies.

The Institute offers a range of courses in Islamic Studies alongside supplementary offerings focusing on contemporary Muslim society. These courses cater to students aspiring to pursue further education in seminaries or graduate programs in Islamic Studies or related fields. Led by Dr. Sayed Ammar Nakshawani, the courses cover topics including Qur’anic Sciences, Islamic Law, Jurisprudence, Islamic Ethics & Spirituality, and delve deeply into Islamic History. Upon completion of their selected courses, a subset of students may be recommended for a fully-funded course near the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (as).
